House policies.

The short version: you pay; we deliver the book, instantly, as a PDF and/or EPUB download. If it doesn't do what we said it would, tell us within 30 days and your money comes back — no questions, no forms, no hoops. The longer version is below.

01Refund policy

30 days, no questions asked. From the moment you receive your download link, you have thirty calendar days to decide whether the book was worth your money. If it wasn't, email us (or send a WhatsApp message) with your order reference and we will refund the full purchase amount to the same card or account you paid with, usually within 48 hours.

We do not ask you to explain why. We do not require you to return anything (you already have the files; there is no way to recall a PDF). We do not blacklist you for asking. We would rather you ask for a refund on a book that didn't land for you than walk away feeling like publishing is a scam.

After 30 days we consider the transaction settled, but if there is something genuinely wrong — a corrupted file, a technical failure on our side, a misrepresentation on the sales page — email us regardless of the date and we will make it right.

02Delivery & formats

Every book is an instant digital download. Nothing is shipped in the post. After payment you land on a thank-you page that contains a download button; you also receive an email with the same link. Files are delivered as a ZIP archive containing PDF and (for most Longform titles) EPUB.

• PDF works on every device — phone, tablet, laptop. Optimized for phone screens.
• EPUB works with Apple Books, Google Play Books, KOReader, and most e-readers except Kindle. If you need a MOBI for a Kindle, email us and we will convert it for you at no charge.
• Lifetime updates. If a second edition is released (corrected, expanded, improved) you get it for free — return to your original download link or email us to request the updated file.

If your download link expires, you lose the email, or the file won't open, message us on WhatsApp or email hello@voiceofiam.com with any fragment of your order details (name, email, approximate date, the book title) and we will resend your copy within 24 hours, forever.

03Pricing & currency

Nigerian editions are priced in Nigerian Naira (₦) and collected via Paystack in NGN. These sales pages are marked "Nigeria · Instant download" and the Paystack checkout supports card, bank transfer, USSD, and the other local methods Paystack offers.

Global editions are priced in US dollars ($) and collected via Paystack in USD, accepting international cards, Apple Pay, and bank transfer. These sales pages are marked "Worldwide · EPUB + PDF."

We do not dynamic-price, geo-gouge, or run fake discounts. The price you see is the price. We occasionally run launch prices for new books — the price goes up after the launch window and never comes back down as a fake "sale."

04Prices are subject to change

We may increase prices as books grow in length or quality, or to reflect changes in production costs. Once you buy at a price, that purchase is locked — you do not pay more later, and you get all future editions at no extra cost. We do not retroactively charge previous buyers when a price rises.

05Your privacy

What we collect: your email address (if you give it to us — at checkout or when you opt in to a free lead magnet), and the standard information Paystack collects to process a payment (card last 4 digits, bank name, amount). We do not store your full card number on our servers; Paystack handles all payment card data.

What we do with it: we use your email to deliver the books you buy, to notify you when a book you own is updated to a new edition, and occasionally to tell you about new books from the house. Every marketing email contains a one-click unsubscribe link; you will not hear from us again once you use it.

What we don't do: we do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not run ad retargeting lists off your purchase data. We do not send you email from other companies.

Meta (Facebook) Pixel is installed on our pages for advertising attribution and aggregated traffic analytics, using Meta's standard PageView event plus a custom event indicating which site variant you saw. Pixel data is governed by Meta's own privacy policy and your Meta ad preferences.

Full privacy policy with all the GDPR/NDPR legalese is available on our privacy page.

06Intellectual property

You own the copy you bought. You may read it on any device you own, print pages for your own personal use, and quote short passages in reviews, social media, or personal writing. The copyright remains with the author and Voice of I AM Publishing House.

What you may not do: upload the book to a piracy site, share your download link with dozens of other people, resell copies, or pass off the writing as your own. These are small books from a small house — piracy here does not hurt a corporation, it directly reduces the author's ability to write the next one. If you know someone who genuinely cannot afford the book but needs it, message us on WhatsApp and we will send them a copy.

07Content disclaimer

Our books are educational and reflective. They are written from personal experience, observation, and (where applicable) cultural tradition and philosophical reading. They are not a substitute for professional advice. Money books are not personalised financial planning; relationship books are not couples therapy; wellness and grief books are not medical or psychiatric care; spiritual writing is not religious instruction you are obligated to follow.

If you are in crisis — suicidal thoughts, domestic violence, unmanageable debt, acute medical symptoms — please contact a licensed professional or the appropriate emergency service in your country. The book will be there when you are stable enough to read it.

08Bundles

Bundled sets are priced at a discount to buying the constituent books separately. If you have previously purchased one or more titles that are included in a bundle, we do not currently auto-discount the bundle for you (we are a very small house with limited checkout infrastructure). Email us after purchase and we will refund you the difference, pro-rated, for titles you already own.

09Lead magnets & free downloads

Free downloads (such as The Payday Autopsy) require an email address, delivered via Kit.com (our email provider). We will add you to our email list when you request the download. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click, and the PDF is yours to keep even if you unsubscribe immediately.
